My beloved cat Smarty again in one of many balcony shots during warm spring/summer days. I think this was the first time I tried some B&W postprocessing on a photo. It gave him a pretty captivating feeling, so I chose to keep it.

Originally post-processed in Photoshop CS2, I would normally start anew when revamping an old photo, but damn me I can't seem to find the original anywhere so I had to start from the previous PSD file and couldn't do that much.
Still, in the revamp I removed most of the black frame, improved the contrast/brightness, made the monochrome filter less blue and worked more carefully on Smarty's face, aiming to make it less white (it was kind of overexposed) and bring back some more detail of the fur. It really isn't my best cat photo, but there's something in Smarty's expression and eye reflection that makes me love it.
