1 hour charcoal drawin'!~WillowTheCat19 requested Medli and Komali from Zelda: Wind Waker. I'm not sure if I'll actually get around to Komali, but if I do, I will post the completed pic of them together. (For those who don't know, this is what Medli looks like! [link] )

This only took you an hour? It looks great! I love the use of that white... chalk, pencil... whatever it is >__>. I am so out of touch with traditional mediums now it seems. But regardless! I think the use of that to bring in the highlights works excellently to give it depth. I think it's really fun that you've given a real life face to such a stylized video game character.

Lol I know, at one point I stopped traditional completely for digital, but now I feel so out of touch with the digital world! I've forgotten half the things I used to be able to do! It's white charcoal, btw
Yaaay, I'm so glad you like seeing that real-look-from-stylized-character thing! It's one of my very favorite things to do in art, that interpretation process.

Wooow....I've never played her game before, but I've seen lots of fan art of Medli, but never in a realistic style! You did an amazing job

I say this rocks. The nose doesn't look like an added part (Which is the mistake I find when people tries to draw Rito in a realistic style) the ears have a good proportion and she looks just in the right age (Around 12 or 13)
