Lord Ashbane, unfortunately, had two. Hewer and Skewer were the first of his many children, and what they lacked in brains, they nearly made up for in brawn. The unicorn inherited his father's coat and his mother's hair, whereas the pegasus inherited vice versa. This made them ugly as sin, which is putting it lightly. Even their weapons are massive and crude, though their helmets are matching works of perfection gifted to them by General Sworn Shield himself. (he would later remark "for a daft pair o' draft horses, those two make an incredible team")

Hewer and Skewer would not be the last of Ashbane's sons. They also wouldn't be the greatest. And they aren't the most eloquent among the brothers, that's for sure. But they'll never leave their father undefended, if only because their mother would tan their hides otherwise...

You don't want to know what their cutie marks are. Or how they earned them. Suffice it to say they grew up in dire times, and they were born for exactly one purpose.
