Tablet doodling this weekend (or i guess it's a bit more than a doodle). Did this as a warm-up for something else. Don't think I plan to finish it though.Related content

I have to say, IDW and TFP have the most satisfying designs for Optimus I've seen in a very long time. I mean, the IDW version is fully bulked out and totally going hard core war-bot, with an added cheeky touch of OMP GIANT RABBIT EAR ANTENNAE, while the TFP version (at least in the first season) is this beautifully rendered 'What If' with the most deliciously designed means of attaining agility and power and I just fell head over heels in love with the whole archivist background and every time I see art of either one I just DIE from FEELS and I love your work man, I just-

Looks amazing.... for aΒ doodle! What tablet did you use? Planning on getting one just to see if it's easy enough to make full digital drawings. I am more comfortable drawing with pens than with a mouse.

i currently use a 2014 galaxy note 10.1. I'm itching to upgrade to a surface pro or a wacom eventually... but for now this is nice and not nearly as expensive. Android just doesn't have the quality imagining programs I would like to have to draw with.Β
Something I've found that helps is having a glove to cover my hand to keep from making accidental marks with my palm or pinky. You basically take a glove/mit/whatever a cut out enough to leave just the ring finger and pinky on your drawing hand and it'll keep from having to basically float your hand while drawing. 
my only problem now... actually finishing sketches. lol

Here's hoping that IDW don't take him on a dark descent to mirror Megs's current attempts to be a decent bloke. The latest "All Hail Optimus" stuff worries me. I may have to flip tables. /Rant

I admit it would be a very interesting story if they took Prime to Fulldark... as long as he's eventually brought back to himself.
I'll just have to keep on believing in "The Real Prime," whether or not he exists in official literature
If it does become table-flipping time, I'll bring popcorn to share/throw.

i'm having trouble getting much of a defined look most of the time on my tablet. i get lazy redrawing the lines and erasing... which is silly because it's probably more work on paper than it is on a tablet.Β
