This piece is inspired by the wonderful work of .
This is a Horncomb, living in the forests of a fantasy world. The life of that world isn't as competitive as ours, and thus, a creature like this, which isn't very specifically adapted for a climbing lifestyle, still manages to survive and flourish in the forest. It uses mainly its hind legs for climbing, occasionally assisted by its tail. It uses its short forelimbs to pluck the fruit and leaves that it eats. Its comb crest of horns is more for display than for anything offensive.

I don't suppose horncombs have any natural predators. For that matter, I don't suppose they have any unnatural predators either.
