Nightmare from Metroid games.I loved Metroid games on GBA, but I hate Metroid Prime (a long fucking story with this game). I did'nt played others Metroid games, maybe I'll play Super Metroid who looks very awesome. But I need to finish my current before start new ones.
Well.
Nightmare was a boss who really impress me in Metroid fusion. When I seen its shadow in the level 5 I think "Oh shit, what's the Hell is this thing?!". And when I when fighted it... I cryed how this boss is hard.
For the pic itself I wanted to play with lights, but the poor boss looks more like a plastic toy than a metalic weapon. I tired to add a background but it sucked. Maybe I'll make a new one later.

Very nice job. Nightmare was certainly a tough boss at first, but it gets easier once you know what to do. I like the glowing effects you put on that "Gravity Shifter" device on its tail (also its first Weak Point).
Have you seen the Nightmare in Metroid Other M too? It appears in that one as well, before it got Infected by the X. It was a lot more creepier in that one to me, but it also showed sort of a backstory there, as in it was probably created aboard that Space Station but went berserk. And Samus didn't exactly kill it in Other M, she just damaged its machine-parts so badly that it was rendered immobile for a while. Apparently because of it's violent nature, but viable possibility in a breakthrough in Gravitational Devices, the Galactic Federation must've repaired its mechanical components after the events of Other M, sent it to B.S.L. where they believed it could be contained more safely, and continued experimenting on it there, until the X breakout happened and the X infected it.

I didn't played Other M, but I watched a playthrough while ago. I totaly forgot it's backstory but I remember it wasn't that creepy... but it's surely different when you play the game.

Uhm ok...it looks like it went on vacation on Dark Aether (Metroid prime 2) got corrupted by glowy blue shit (phazon) and overall...its scary looking and it looks very mean...it must not have the power of dirt along with the power of purple

Exept for the face.
It is nicely done indeed, but you did'nt quite catch the "Fear" in the face.
His mouth is not supposed to look like it's half of his head and the eyes are does'nt have that huge circles around them.
Annyhow, I love this one ^^
