mentioned something about injections during the flowers growth...i read in a book, that you can do a version of this, not as bright as this, by splitting the stem of a white flower 3 ways, putting ea stem in a different glass with colored water.

I am def going to try this. I know for some they inject dye into the stems as they are growing, but that just seems difficult, so I am def going to try it this way!!!

Just waiting until I get my new camera. I think a higher mp will make it all the prettier. And if it turns out I don't want to risk jinxing myself and not being able to do it again once I have the new camera.

understandable, i have a hard time during the waiting process of projects...right now im waiting for some copper wire to tarnish and im so focused on it right now that it been really hard for me to shift gears into something else for the time being...i don't really even know how long i have to wait, im just watching the color, til it matches the scavenged wire thats already tarnished.

you can make one if you wanna....wanna know how ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

WildLotus In reply to WildLotus [2007-07-19 02:41:58 +0000 UTC]

you use a white rose before it opens and slit the stem up 3 ways so that the bottom of the stem separates into 3 stems, then you put each of those 3 sections into a glass of water with a different color food coloring in it, one red one yellow one blue as the flower drinks the water it will gradually change colors ....so im told, i never actually tried it...
