This big fella has been sitting around on my computer for over a year now, since I will probably never use him I was wondering if maybe I could sell him on to a HArpg stable that will use him. Other: Riff is a very sweet boy, almost lackadaisical like a sleepy old bear. Paige has never had one of these heavy, muscular type Quarters and are not used to his laid back nature just yet. He was strictly just a halter stallion and rarely ridden, and we figure why now?
Build: One of the stockier halter type quarters, some do not like this build for the modern quarter horse and like us, prefer the leaner, shorter, heartier variety of working cow horse stock. But nonetheless Riff is an impressive specimen not only physically but his show record really stands out. With a rounded muzzle and slightly dished profile, powerful hind quarters and small inquisitive tulip ears, he was hardly ever passed over by the judges.
