The result of the breeding between PS Tuscovanni and PS Zahna, my two Hanoverians. I actually plan on showing him too lol and maybe get him recognized to the point that people might actually want to breed to him. As one is supposed to when registering with the American Hanoverian Society this fella’s name had to start with the same letter of his sire’s name and I could think of nothing better to name him, I love this song.

Gender: Stud Colt
Breed: Hanoverian
Type/Discipline: Eventing
Age: 3 (in this pic, see journal for more up to date age)
Height: 16 hands without shoes but is still growing, the “string test” reveals he will reach 16.2
Color/Genotype: ee/Aa might carry the sabino gene since his sire is sabino.
Markings: Rich liver chestnut with lighter, almost golden mane and tail, fairly heavy dappling from his sire but it is faint, front stockings and a blaze that reaches all the way to his chin.
Discipline: Will be an eventing horse, hopefully a future Olympian.
Coggins: Tested negative in April while he was being vaccinated
Passable Traits: Lithe build, pretty head, markings and passive temperament.

Other: Travis is a lively boy and loves to zip around his pasture and is always first to stick his head out of his stall in the mornings at feeding time, nickering quietly as if he is afraid to awaken his fellow barn mates. His ears are bright and alert and his ears are always pointed forward, he is curious and inquisitive, doesn’t spook or startle easily and so far seems very careful and cautious about new things. He has shown immense interest in jumping so long as he can see the other side of the jump, as mentioned previously he is very careful. Hopefully with time and training he will learn there are no scary monsters on the other side of those jumps. The only thing he does not like is baths and hates to be wet, dancing around and just out of reach of the hose. He looks great in free hunting and collects very well in his trots and tucks in his jumps and looks like a perfect candidate for future huntseat competition too. He will need a lot more experience under his belt if he is to become a future champion.
Build: Well-muscled with a cresty neck, refined head and small muzzle almost a feminine looking stud colt but he may very well fill out later and look more like a stallion. He has good feet, nicely defined tendons and conformation-wise is a good looking horse that shows promise in halter in his younger years until he is old enough to compete in his target sport of eventing. He has a full tail and mane, both are significantly “fluffy” by that perpetual cowlick is a shame. His ears are fairly long but well-shaped and delicate looking with the perfect favored “tulip shape” his nostrils are large and he has a strong back to propel him over the jumps he is destined to conquer.
