Cinnamon had quickly grown jaded after joining the forces of Hell. She’d thought that she’d enjoy tempting mortals into giving up their Immortal Souls, but it too quickly had grown just too easy and she'd grown jaded. In fact, when she’d been summoned to Earth this time she’d completely expected it to be just another pimply-faced barely-adolescent boy-child who would trade his Eternal Soul for little more than a hot kiss.

Instead she’d found herself facing one of the most difficult - and intriguing - clients she’d ever seen. He’d made her promises - in return for her servitude - which she’d found difficult to resist. In the end she’d gladly signed her half of the contract - which had put herself in his complete service - for the remainder of his life.

Over the years of her service to him she found herself frequently compelled to protect his life, to avoid chances to collect his soul and return to hell before she wanted to.
