Hi DH,
My first visit to your gallery. Given how long I've been on dA, I can't figure out how I didn't stumble in here years ago! In any case, I've quite enjoyed my first visit.
I noted that you requested critiques on many of your images. But although this is something I do provide to artists from time to time, I really didn't offer any such to you, at least not in detail. I believe this is because I find your drawing style unusual here at dA, and want to take some time to do some repeated viewings and think about what I really like.
One thing I don't have at all is any suggestion for how you might "improve." It's clear to me that exaggerated limbs is part of your style, and it works quite well for you. Same with widely stretched mouths around enormous and unrealistic ball gags. Since your genre is cartoons, and very flat, 2-D representation, this seems fine to me. If you were working in a more realistic genre, I guess I'd be asking you to consider depth, shading, perspective, etc. etc., but as it is it's just fine. In fact, it's nicely done.
Your style does, however, feel less Californian than Continental, in my limited perspective. I suppose its because this femme-domme, TV-sub thing is more characteristic of British and French artwork than American, and also because stylistically the long limbs and impossible positions feel more French than American, too. Not a problem, if any of this rings true. As I say, it works quite well for you, and I'd hate to suggest that you change any of it.
I will raise one small question, though. As my occasional comments to your individual images note, you seem to shy away from describing the humiliation and deliciousness of the butt plugs featured in your art work, even though your blurb descriptions are quite detailed. Since the plugs you've drawn are clearly bulb-inflatable types, the viewer is led to suspect that they might even be part of an enema rig. Now, this wouldn't be unusual, and certainly could be part of the humiliation scene. So why be so skittish about identifying it as such?

Thank you so much for your critique! I really enjoyed reading it. To answer your question about skittishness - the main reason is fear of DA censorship. I don't want to draw the wrong kind of attention.

Yes, for sure it's worth being a bit careful about sticking with the rules. Not to mention that dA admin/censor types have been known to be somewhat capricious in applying those rules. Perhaps at some point a particular image will allow itself to be a bit more explicit with respect to the function of butt-plugs, enemas, etc. Not a big deal either way. I was just curious, is all.
