Hey, I really like it! It's so nice to see a theme which I draw a lot, drew by you too ^____^. You made the head really well! I have always problems with it ^^'...
I really admire the way you put shades and lights, especially colours you use. I can see there even pale greens (used in so interesting way! or maybe it's another colour which makes an illusion of being green?), sand, dark unsaturated brown. You used the same colours or you was picking different from the palette? Would you mind to share palette? I'm really curious what set made such result! And all these brush strokes... ah.. ^^. I really like how you made it!
The horse himself looks really young and as if not really conscious what is around him. I don't know if that's his dreamy eye or something else causing such impression on me. He looks as if he wasn't present in the real world and that makes me wonder what he's thinking about. Or maybe he's not htinking at all? Just enjoys Nothingness ^^?

All those horses galloping and frolicking in your gallery did inspire to draw this one
I do not really use a preset palette.
I started in grey tones to make a rough shaping.
Then I coloured it in one general warm yellowish tone as that felt how it wanted to be.
I tweaked around a bit with color balance making the darker colors a but more blue/purple in tone the mid tones more orange like.
Then used the shape and its tones to mix and match while refining the strokes.
It creates other colours when you do that.
And I then washed some tones over in an overlay layer.
Can't say really which XD Don't remember.
Just tones that felt right
The horse reminds me of two horses I've known XD
One was not to bright 
She liked to run as possible and had much fun but did not make much personal contact.
And there was this young halflinger, she was a cuddle monster.
She loved to lick XD
Both were not really present in the 'real world' tho
Dreamers hehe.
So it figures that this one is not seeming to be there either.

XD I did not notice myself that the eyes are so big.
