This was inspired by my recent encounter with the J16s and the amazing colors outside my window this morning as it lightly rained. I was thinking about how J16 Slick has as many dead children as living ones, not to mention a dead grandson. She and her offspring deserve better. The spirits in the clouds here include J33 Keet, J48, J50 Scarlet, and J52 Sonic. The still living below are J26 Mike, J36 Alki, J42 Echo, and matriarch J16 Slick. I would have included Slick's mother J7 Sucia and brother J3 Merlin, but the original sketch was on paper and I ran out of room and creative energy.Related content

I really love the inspiration your got from your recent encounter and took it full with heart and put all soul on it. The colours are wonderful, yet sorrowful like a heavy reminder of the fragile balance. The spirits in the rain made me sad thinking that the SRKW population will become only a decent memory if we do nothing before it's too late. And my goodness the eyes! The eyes! I just love the eyes of the orcas swimming under the waves. So beautiful
