Nice job... She's my favorite historical character too!

I'll be honest; I can't exactly sum up what makes her so attractive to me, as a historical figure... is it her defiance? The fact that she's a sort of Proto-warrior woman?
I dunno; but either way; she's a total badass! ^^
Incidentally though; her outfit has more in common with European Celts, I.E, the Gauls and the Halstatt Celts; rather than British Celts. I only discovered that AFTER I'd drawn her, to be honest.

The outfit is not really a problem as we're really only making educated guesses as to clothing as so little survives in the archaelogical record, also the British had close links with the Celtic peoples in Gaul and even further afield so styles and fashions possibly spread!
Anyhow it's a cracking drawing!

I really like this! I did a similar piece years ago, except she was naked and covered in tattoos/body paint. I also gave her one of those wavy spearheads.

Yeah, I did a bit of research, and was rather surprised to find that the Celts were REALLY into jewellery. We live and learn eh?
