Thanks for your kind comment! I had a good look at the green line in the petal. This green line should have been a leaf. The petal and the leaf are one now!!! A mistake in the genes I think. But it looks great to me!

I figured out that the green line is part of the leaf!!! I don't know whether they make them this way on purpose! Not every flower had that green line!!!

Probably some genetic mishap. My pink tulip was the only one in a bunch with that crazy two-colored leaf.

They indeed are beautiful. The petal with the green lines, is not a normal petal its a combination of a petal and a leaf!!!
