Description Seriously.

I've been doing some thinking on my current state of life, especially since I've been so busy offline as of late. It's not glamorous by any means; it can actually be pretty stressful and worrying a lot of times. Then, I realize, I don't have it as bad as it could be. I've got a roof over my head, decent (though worn) clothes on my back, good (but fairly unhealthy) food on the table, and an Internet connection for entertainment.

...I could be homeless, starving, and be left for dead if things suddenly go south. So, these days, I'm trying to lighten up, not stress out so badly and not take things for granted. Because, if you think things can be pretty bad now, things could always get worse. You could be fine one day and painfully dying slowly the next. Smile for what you have now.

I get what you're saying. But just because a lot of people have these things, that doesn't necessarily mean you have no right to complain about your problems.
Also, I just wanna point out that saying this to the wrong people can be harmful. Speaking from experience, people who suffer with mental illness are told this almost all the time. As someone who suffers with depression & anxiety, I didn't get any meaningful help until I was seriously considering suicide. Fortunately for me I'm now getting the help I need, but so many don't. And it's because people keep saying "It could always be worse" that so many mentally ill people don't get the help they need until they reach crisis point. And those that don't get help at all tend to end up in poverty, in prison, homeless or dead.
