I was 6 when this cam out, and I watch every single episode! Now I'm 15. AND I STILL WATCH THIS FRIGGIN MOVIE! It's been 9 years man, 9 YEARS!
This movie is my childhood. ;w;

Technically 7 years ago for people who started it when it started, but I didn't start it until like 5 or maybe 6 years ago, cuz I didn't watch it until I moved in with a group of people who did and they were already into late earth book.
However, I did finish it not long before I joined the military, and I am literally leaving in a few days. (Terminal leave, I'm officially out in a month and a half, but using saved up leave days).
The ironic thing, the DVD of the last episodes of the series I bought and watched a few times right before I left for basic. I packed it, but I don't think in the 4 and a half years that I was in the military I screwed with it much-although in the beginning of AIT it was still fresh on the former fans' minds (the one I met being a father who watched it "with" his kids). Then, right when I was packing to leave in a few days, I uncovered the dvd whose jacket had been slightly warped over the past 4 years, and I popped that sucker in and watched the finale while I was packing.
Special, don't you think? In the past 4 or so years, watching that seemed to happen prior and parallel to a big change in life-usually in location and life style. And the funny thing is, I didn't plan this. It happened, I just realized the opportunity and took it because it was appropriate and at the time I said "what the heck." Ironic is a good word, special is better. It was a part of my life, because it was that good and special of a show as a whole, and because it accompanied some painful but educational phase in my young adult life b4 the military phase.
You bet a manly tear was shed.
And then I water bent that $h** back into my eye.
