The encounters with team Avatar and the cabbage merchant keep reminding me of a certain green transformer from Transformers beast wars. If you don't know who I mean then look up Waspinator and you will get it.

The reasons that cabbage merchant reminds me of waspinator is that they are both used for comedic relief through bad situations of no fault of their own and then given power for giving up in the end. For waspinator it would in be in Season 2 episode 12 of Best wars where waspinator arrives at the mountain containing the ark he gets hit by Blackarachnia and Silverbolt in an modified stasis pod destroying the pod and waspinator, while team avatar was in Omasu for the first time riding the delivery system they crashed into the cabbage merchants cart who was just trying to sell cabbages, there by destroying his business and almost injuring him too. And the giving up would be at the end of season two episode 15 of Avatar when Aang was making a new Ba Sing Se zoo one of the animals that escaped because of Aang was eating his cabbages and he just gave up, and waspinator in the season 3 episode 12 of beast wars quits and is sparred destruction. Both then are rewarded for giving up with positions of power, Cabbage Merchant founding Cabbage corp. and waspinator becoming god of a protohuman tribe.
If you don't see it too then I guess I'm the only one who sees the connection then.
