READ THIS FIRST! [link]As you can see, Niitsuma wants 8 more characters to be in UMvC3, but cannot due to scheduling (it's planned to be released before Christmas).
So what do you think? Do you want UMvC3 to be released in November, or do you want it to be delayed?

And I only know Slappy after I watched that video, lol. And boy, he's somewhat funny and creepy at the same time. Shame that he didn't displayed his fullest potential there.

But Adam can also spit fire, throw knives and poison gas ballons, and he fricken rolls on his chainsaws, as if they are lined with FEATHERS!!!

Ayup, Sengoku Basara is Capcom's. Still, Adam the Clown looks funny and intimidating at the same time, and while I don't think he'll be a good choice, I'll lol if he gets in. XD
And well, what can Slappy do?

Slappy is one of the fastest psychopaths, those skates could affect his ground movement and give him an effective wave dash, he mainly uses his duel flamethrowers, along with a spitfire gun. There is a move where he spins around surrounded by fire, that does most damage. Basically all his moves would be fire based.
Trust me, hes a pain in the ass! with his drive-by stlye burnings, fire spin (It's Super Effective!) He even has distance with his spitfire that burst into flame, he can fire 3 in one session. So he would be somewhat a devensive character, with his flame sheilds, fire ballz, spin special, and his speed, he'll be the kind that would keep away, but be deadly if you got close enough to him.
Specials:
(Hadoken foward)
Flamethrower (Can be done in air, can be held done for longer time, light version OTG's)
(Shoryoken foward)
Spitfire Gun (Can be repeated 3 times in any direction, light OTG's)
(Backwards hadoken)
Fire Spin (Durability and start up time depend on button.)
(Backwards shoryoken)
CHARGE!!! (he charges with his flamethrowers at his side, hyper cancelable)

A buffed up version of his normal fire spin, almost takes full screen.
Level 1- Dual Weild
With a flamthrower in one hand, and a spitfire gun in the other, he blazes up the opponent, can OTG
Level 3- Hell on Earth
Slappy charges the opponent, when he gets them, he pushes em on the ground, throwing gas canisters at the opponent, drenching them in gas, seeing as his flamethrower is out of fuel, he pulls out a match, lits up the gas, and laughs manically as his enemy burns.

In the video where he takes a slim looking gun, and fires 3 times that each cause a mini explosion, it is distant, and explodes.
CHARGE!!! is simple, its basically when he takes his flamethrowers at his side and goes across screan, like I said, hyper cancelable.

Yes it rushes forward, like Pheoenix Wright's Press the Witness attack, only CHARGE!! goes much fuster, and can be canceled into his level 3.

thats true capcom stated what characters they wanted shuma goraths only in becouse capcom begged marvel and when they got the ok for dr strange marvel held their hand while they walked across the roads of the creation of his model an ie is dr strange being able to float he wasnt gona do that at first since marvel had to many characters that could float also dnt evpect big heavy weights like jugorknot an the thing cap said that hulk was more than enough

It would really depend on what characters they would add. If it were highly requested characters like Gene, Megaman X, Venom, ect. Then I think they wait would be worth it. Besides, best they add those characters now than coming out with a Super Duper Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 with the characters they didn't add in before.

BTW isn't Venom said to be rejected by Marvel? I dunno about most people who support him like crazy, but well... That's why I support Anti-Venom instead since he's Eddie Brock. His attack can be like the old Venom in MvC2, plus more additions.

Well if well if that's true then at least that gives Venom and Megaman X something in common. Both are the most requested characters in the polls they have yet to appear in MVC3
That's the thing though. Marvel chooses their own characters to be in this game (as well as Capcom). However, some of the choices aren't very good ones from a fan's point of view. Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, and Nova aren't even in the top 25 most requested list (and are you really surprised?) I'm pretty sure they added some of those characters in to be advertised and get more recognition. I don't support this method though. If they wanted their obscure characters to get recognized (and maybe even have a fan base) then they should just write them more in their mainstream comics and put the characters in the game who REALLY deserve it.

Rocket Raccoon is getting his special comic this August (or September). That's why. For Hawkeye and Nova, though, I'm not sure (I'm not so much of a comic book fan btw 
And MvC games (from X-Men COTA), IIRC, are almost never used for fanservice, actually (at least for Marvel side) - Marvel promoted their characters from the games. Like how Marrow being in MvC2; she's considered a failure in promotion.
And think about it, Strider Hiryu, Captain Commando, Jin Saotome etc. comes from obscure games too, and fans at first also says WTF @ them. Now 11 years have gone and fans love them. Why not the new ones from MvC3? I bet that for people who got MvC3 as a child, they'll complain in the next game (if there's ever) that the new chars from said game doesn't make it into the sequel. That's how it works.

Of freaking course. Marvel would rather go out of their way to advertise characters we don't give a crap about than satisfy their fans. -_- I don't know about Nova, but I can tell you that Hawkeye will be appearing in the Avengers movie. He also had a small part in the Thor movie (apparently he was the guy with the cock-tease bow and arrow when Thor tried to lift the hammer). I guess that's all MVC will ever be, an advertisement in video game form. -_-
