Looks great - is it a two tone or is that just shadows on the side making it look darker?

Love it. I'm looking at a Chevy, Olds or Buick version myself.

Got my eye on a pristine '77 Cutlass Salon 4-door at this time, just need to be able to pass a road test and get a normal part-time job with the hobby store I work as a backup cashier/diecast car expert at and work on the social media end of things with, or get a different job plus possibly giving up SSI benefits, to be able to get it and keep it well-fed on gas and ZDDP oil additive.

Zinc compound oil additive that the treehuggers at the US EPA banned, is necessary in pre-1990 or so engines

Oh right, harder on flat tappet camshafts, apparently...
I read about that somewhere, and I might go with a roller cam the next time
I build something, but they are so damn much more expensive...

"Y'see... the reason the exhaust is in front of the rear tires is 'cause it warms the tire up and melts the ice so I can drive it on snowy days."
"Does it work?"
"No."

It just caused heat damage to the paint and left rear tire on my '84 Ford F250 farm & ranch special with a '60-something Ford LTD 390.

I worried about that on my car but so far I have been lucky. I think the aluminum pipes stay cool enough. Though they will leave a nice litttle mark on an ankle thhat makes it looks like you fell on the grille at Burger King.

My Ford had a terrible system made from (as I recall) an Isuzu NPR muffler taken off a wrecked refrigerator truck at the previous owner's workplace, mixed copper and aluminum pipes and poor construction. The person who owns it now is intending to restore it, wanted to rebuild that exhaust system, I ordered him Dennis Carpenter, LMC Truck, Mac's Ford Parts, Eastwood and Summit Racing catalogs in his name/address, mentioned Ford Coyote, modular, 351 and 460 crate engines, and said if he wanted to rebuild it properly, he needed what I ordered him.

I really lucked out... three times. I have a vintage Thrush finned aluminum side pipe setup. It fits factory perfect. Originally it had very small exhaust I.D. but I pulled the old mufflers out and stuck in some Purple Hornies. But it's real fragile. It dents SO easily. I can't take it in for a proper alignment because it hangs up on the rack. They don't make those side pipes anymore so I have to grab them up as I find them. But they are expensive, A pair that I can work with is a couple hundred bucks unless I get lucky. Next best thing if the worst should happen is getting some off of a 69 Vette, but to me that's cheating because those are mostly just fancy covers.
I have to make some measurements because the side pipes have an S bend and I'd like to X pipe it.Β

Hope you can get it all worked out. Prolly gonna use all 50-state-legal hop-up bits on the '77 Cutlass Salon 4-door if I get it, or the '73 Cutlass Model S 4-door that passes around my local CL like a hot potato, I'm not sure what state I'll end up in, so for precautionary purposes am keeping the cat (for the '77) and using only 50-state-legal parts. I'm looking to become either a tattoo artist, smokeshop/headshop merchandise specialist, or (if it's legalized nationwide) organic premium cannabis grower, and sell my art on the side, and myself & my partner are going where the money and demand are, where I have no family (long story there) and the availability of RV park, extended-stay suite, lease-to-own houses or mobile home, and possible cannabis grow area, real estate at reasonable prices, that's far from where I am now
(sorry for rambling)

The cannibis thing is all nice and legal here! I couldn't find any that would help me with my issues but it has helped a few of my friends out. Besides, if I finish my CDL training I wont be able to utilize it anyway...Β
So far there hasn't been as much negative drama as we expected about the legalization. We had some bad press because some dumbshit from Wyoming had too much for him to handle and jumped off a balcony to his death. They neglected to mention he also had alcohol and other stuff in his system.Β
