After looking at your other bracelets, one can immediately tell that this follows a more "angular" pattern/design (especially compared to your other pieces like this one ). I quite like the regularity and order, though it conflicts with the shape of the beads themselves.
You would think that the beads would be mass-produced, and thus all similar to one another, but that's not the case here. Some are more squat than others, while others are taller.
The way the strings congregate at the ends reminds me of a hammock, which then makes me think of a relaxed atmosphere. In a way, there is a sense of relaxation here with every bead in its rightful place to form straight patterns.
I would somewhat agree with the other commenters on the background/setting. For my part, I think it's pretty cool how you have the leaf as a "resting mat" for the bracelet, though if the leaf was bigger to encompass the bracelet more, perhaps that would be better...
I like the diagonal direction of the bracelet, but it would support the perspective more if the stripes on the cement (?) were also facing the same diagonal direction.
Awesome piece, either way! Do you remember how long it took you to make?

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, considering that I buy packages from craft stores, there really isn't a great amount of consistency in the size of the beads. Someone did say that you can buy beads that are more consistently sized although at a higher price, so maybe I'll save up my spare change and try buying some of those.
I think it took between two and three hours. Sometimes they can take more like seven or eight hours altogether, sometimes as little as an hour. It depends on the size. A longer and wider one takes more time to make than a narrow, short one

I have wondered that myself. I halfway wonder if they cast them into one long little tube then have people cut them, but it seems like they should be able to cast the beads directly into molds or somethingΒ Β
I'm glad you think it makes them look more interesting. A lot of other people seem to be advising me to try to sort out the beads so the sizes are more consistent, but I've been thinking they would look less handmade that way. I'm glad someone else finds the difference in size interesting.

That's an interesting idea for big and small beads. Maybe I will try that with the right design.

Hello, from
Pretty bracelet!
I think your choice of background is taking away from the presentation of your product.
The leaf doesn't bother me but the cement color does.
Something darker so then your craftsmanship can be better appreciated.
You are selling these afterall and people need to see your work better.
I have no problem with the colors you chose for your bracelet.

Hello,
I found your work with P rojectComment Β and found myself wanting to comment your work! So here we go!
Β
First of all: I like it very much.
The simple pattern of the pearls makes a very nice contrast with the irregularity of the leaf underneath. Also the colors are well chosen! Orange (or yellow) and blue (or purple) are complementary colors, which in my opinion, rest the eyes and offers a great effect!
As for the photo itself, the quality of the picture is really nice. I would however suggest something about the structure. The patterns on the wooden table are straight lines, the leaf is put sideways (is that the correct word?) and the bracelet follows the leaf. May I suggest that the bracelet follows the tableβs patterns, while the leaf stays how it is? It could bring regularity; which would be disturbed by the colorful and irregular leaf. (or not? Does that make any sense to you? I hope it does...)
Also, I cannot comment your deviation without saluting your work on the bracelet itself: it must require delicacy and patience to put all these pearls together, in a harmonious way! An amazing work!
I wish you the best and again: good work!
