now you *know* that's not what i meant after my long-winded recent guff about maritime tattoos! I always think a good tattoo artist knows *everything* is well read and can help customers intrepret what they want by suggesting parallels to something (possibly...)a bit tacky. my name is hebrew and means queen bee, so i have a small tattoo of a bee on me somewhere. bees can be intrepeted symbolically as stars ( will need to check my reference when i get home as can't remember who actually thinks this!) so i have stars as well. someone i know is called 'hooksy' and has 'hooksy on his arm in old english script. I take it that is in case he forgets who he is one day.

Its cool I like to read them. Plus, there's not that many in the business on this site so it pays to stick together. There's a certain ammount of turf war with the tattoo shops in my town so being able to talk to others in the business without fear of reprimand is a lot of fun for me.
