Hey Rob! I've 'Liked' the Inkspired Facebook page...I'd love to upload some tattoo designs. How do I get accepted as an artist? Do I just try and upload some designs? Let me know, as this insterests me very much!

the one with the cigarette really caught my attention. I've never seen anything like that one before.

Well, I tried to do something different, but I'm afraid my imagination is not what it should be. I guess it's cause I don't have enough time to dedicate to art...the more you practice the better you get and the more creative you become.

your imagination seems fine to me.

I know how not having enough time effects art, but I don't know what bearing it has on creativity. I always thought creativity couldn't really be learned; it just happens.

You're right, creativity cannot be learned, but I think that it can be cultivated. I think it's like one of those things that if you don't use it you lose it. Children have vast imagination, but as we get older and distracted by real life, we lose some of that wouldn't you agree? But I think if you keep the 'juices' flowing you can only get better. All I need is for a day to be about 48 hours long instead of 24 to get everything I need to do done! LOL Busy busy!

mm. I do agree. I know I've lost at least some of mine. it's not only disuse, I think, but work and school [especially the early years]. I perpetually face the ultimatum: do it this way beecause I said so. there is no room for thought, one simply finishes said task with robot-like efficiency by following given guidelines.

a 48 hour day would be quite nice. it'd leave room for independent [creative] thinking.

It's not that bad really! I tattooed the top of my feet last week and it was fine...but I guess I'm the the kind of gal who enjoys the annoying (some say painful) feeling of a tattoo! I think it's more of an annoying feeling than pain, sort of like if you take the blunt side of a knife and run it accross your skin more like pressure than anything! LOL Try something small to start in an easy spot, and I'll guarantee you'll be hooked!

yeah i wanna get something small done on my back (so then i dont have to see them do it.) its just the fact that i have this sharp metal thing forcing its way into my skin that creeps me out.
i bought one of those airbrush tattoo kits (its for kids) ill play with that for a bit until i get enough balls, or get really drunk, one or the other.....
