The battered Common Pangdillo above is an individual named Sapphire.

Originally from a nomadic herd, Sapphire grew up in an ordinary Dillo life with her family which consisted of her grandparents, her parents, and her older sister, Sapphrina. But, one day, something happened that would alter Sapphire's entire life's directory.

The herd had unknowingly ventured into savage territory ruled by a clan of bloodthirsty vampire Dillo. These fiends were infectious, meaning they turned any of the living into the undead with just a simple bite or scratch. No baptism was needed. One night, while everybody was fast asleep, the vamps launched an ambush, killing off the herd as they quenched their thirst. Some tried to escape and some tried fighting back, but they just were not strong enough. In the center of all the commotion, Sapphrina had been pulled into a battle with the Queen. Meanwhile, Sapphire and the rest of the family had managed to hide away in the forest and all they could do was watch in terror. When the killings stopped and the sounds of suffering faded, Sapphire and her family slowly emerged out of their hiding spots into a field of gore. As they searched for Sapphrina, Sapphire eventually found her laying on the ground suffering from a bite wound in her neck. Thinking she could still be saved, her parents decided to bring her along to find help. Little did they know, poor Sapphrina was slowly turning into one of them bloodthirsty killers.

Not long after, Sapphrina began retching like some rabid animal. She was losing control. Her parents quickly laid her down on the ground and prepared for the worst. As mom leaned in to give her a last kiss goodbye, Sapphrina bit into her neck and immediately jumped onto dad, causing a similar fate. Sapphire and her grandparents could do nothing but make a run for their lives. They kept on the move till their constant fleeing brought them to the gates of Sector 1404.

In case some of you did not know, Sapphire was a Private Sector member. She earned a place because of her unique metallic blue coloration. But, her position did not last long as she volunteered for Sector 1404's Guardian ranks. She wanted to fight against the evil forces which tore her family apart. With every battle she suffered scars and injuries which eventually completely ruined her beautiful metallic coloration. She is greatly respected, nonetheless. It was not often an individual from the lowest class of Dillo fought so valiantly.

Surprisingly, Sapphrina began coming to Sector 1404 to visit her a few years ago, not long after her grandparents' death. Knowing Sapphire was now completely alone, Sapphrina wanted to get back together, but she simply could not forgive her for what she had done. She still comes back till this day. Apparently, she managed to take over the clan and now has complete order over it. The previous Queen perished against her in her fight for revenge.

However, Sapphire is not exactly alone. She actually paired up with a handsome strong male named Brock. One who loves her for the battered brute she is. He absolutely admires her spirit. Sapphire still fights till this day. The damage on her concerns many, but she would rather die fighting than die a natural death.

Aside from all of the above, Sapphire is the only Pangdillo known to play the guitar and her mate, Brock, also happens to be a bassist Dillo all on his own. They make very nice music together thanks to their outstanding sense of melody.
