I was walking through a memorial hall not far from the Private Sector, where I work, and I bumped into Vincent. He was staring at a life-size model of Constantina. I did not know who she was yet, so I asked him out of pure curiosity. He began to explain as he looked back centuries into his life.

Before the world of humans was the world of giants. The Earth was small and it's inhabitants were huge. But, for an unknown reason, their time of ruling was short and they slowly disappeared. Some perished, some vanished, and some went dormant.

Constantina. A 150-foot-long serpentine Matile. The last of her kind. She carved the roads and paths of Sector 1404 that we know of today with her massive body. She actually helped it come to be. We all know Vincent was the one who built Sector 1404. But, he did not do it alone. He had help. Sector 1404 took two centuries to finish and she was with him the whole way along with a few others including Lorena, to my surprise.

Constantina promised Vincent a position as the manager. All she wanted to be was the guardian. She was, in fact, an ancient deity with special powers granted to her by the divine which she kept very much to herself. She was a true guardian. One who was assigned by the divine to the lowlands of South America. The highlands belonged to Quetzalcoatl. Mysteriously, after Sector 1404's completion, she was nowhere to be found. After much searching, Vincent began thinking perhaps it was her time. Deities never truly die. They just vanish and spawn somewhere else to carry on their purpose which is to guide and protect. Perhaps her duty was done.

600 years later, in July 2006, Mother Nature decided to reveal one of her many secrets. A tsunami had unearthed something on the shorelines of what was now called India. A news report and footage showed the remains of Constantina. Nobody knows what had happened to her. Buried right under the Indians' feet for centuries was her fossilized body.
