Description
I am no animator, and I truly have to give props to all my animator friends out there because it is a labor of love for sure, but here is my attempt at some animation. This is by no means perfect and there is plenty to fix or add but I wanted to do a flight cycle with one of my critters.Related content

Really beautiful. It's amazing to see your creations in motion like this, even a modest and simple animation like this brings them to life on a whole new level. Also, I've seen all sorts of flying creatures animated, prehistoric, alive today, fantasy and science fiction ones, - and this is the most "alien" one of them I've witnessed so far, making this piece of art something really refreshing and fascinating to look at. I also love how one of these flying fellas moves its mouth a bit.
The creature design is very elegant, beautiful and functioning, also very alien and unique. Personally, I feel that these things look kind of epic and majestic, despite looking so different from anything else I know. And I think that the animation itself looks good too.

This is good! But It looks like it is flying backwards. Maybe my eyes deceive me.
This animation sequence is perfect for landing, cause it will try to reduce speed and break while landing. Or flying backwards.

Think about a full plain of animals of different sort. Some in the air, some on the ground and maybe some in the water. All moving and making sounds and stuff. Would be so realistic even if it is painted!

My recommendation, while it is a good wing cycle, is make the rest of the body move along with it. There are other muscles working with the wings, like the pectorals and the neck muscles.

thanks! Oh for sure, there is sooo many things that need adjusting but I was happy that I got it to look like it was flying, period
