People.. Albino Dobermans, or almost any albino animal for that matter, ALWAYS have health issues. ALWAYS. They cannot live healthy, happy lives and are used purely because humans like white animals. They suffer because people like YOU like pretty white animals no matter the risk.

Does she have a lot of health issues? I know she's not your dog but seeing as how it's your friend's maybe you know. I know albinos are known for having a huge list of health issues. Also does your friend know that the dog needs sunscreen if outside for prolonged periods of time? I also do hope your friend knows that it's unethical to breed an albino doberman. They're just ruining the gene pool. Yes, they're gorgeous and I don't mean to put the dog down, it's not the dog's fault and she is indeed gorgeous but definitely should not be bred.

It doesn't matter if I got the gender wrong, the point still stands that you don't backyard breed dogs because "hurr durr it's purdy white." People are incredibly stupid now days and backyard breeding is hurting dogs. Uh, what makes you think I only care about white animals? I'm not trolling. Plenty of albinos live long, healthy, and happy lives. Whether 'backyard' breeding or breeding with genetic lines on paper, a lot of people still don't know what they're doing. Breeding is a science we have yet to perfect. No one seriously knows what the litter they plan will come out as, we can only guess and hope with our odds. Plenty of healthy dogs have litters with pups who die, have deformities, or other issues. Calling someone an idiot for breeding an albino is silly, when really anyone who breeds a dog is stupid in that case. No one can control what the pups end up ultimately being.
Backyard breeding doesn't ruin anything. People picking what two dogs mate is worse than dogs randomly mating with each other in the wild or on the streets? I'm sure people who breed check the health of the dogs breeding, which is healthier than letting dogs run around doing it on their own.
Perhaps the owner wants to keep his line continuing and have his future pups when he passes? Puppies may come out albino, but if he is albino and has no health problems, his dominant genetics are healthy no matter his coat pigmentation. You're ignorant for calling the breeder stupid when you don't even know the dog's health or genetics. For all you know you're being unnecessarily rude to a person who has a healthy, beautiful dog that is, so be it, albino. You have no proof that he will create puppies with terrible health issues. They may come out perfectly healthy or even none of them albino. When you point your finger, there are always three pointing back at you.
