I actually used Elanee quite a lot, as she makes a better healer than Zhjaeve, provided she's level 7 or higher. I think that the game's developers missed a huge opportunity to make Elanee funnier

I very rarely used healing, fully exploiting the fact that, unlike in other games I played, in NWN2 you don't have to drag every fallen party member to nearest temple (which can be pretty troublesome in the middle of wilderness) for resurrection, but they spring back into commision after 5 second rest. Having a healer in the party didn't feel as necessary, though the ingame party members might disagree with this assessment.

It's not much fun to use a Sorc before they reach level 6. Too bad there is not a Health-Nut class with the power to drown enemies in tofu

I only made a sorc once but first I took 7 barbarian lvls. In the end it was a weird dysfunctional character but I could never play a spell-caster straight away. Too much running away involved ^^.

Take a Sorc as high as you can, then finish with Pale Master's levels. The special abilities are not that great, but the buffs are worth it.

Hehe, in-game Elanee always annoyed me. It felt like they were trying to hard to go for the "melodiously-voiced otherworldly beautiful elf druid" vibe. Blergh. Your Elanee is hilarious, though.
