First Game Appearance: Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (Game Boy 1998)

Members of the criminal organization of Team Rocket; they are Jessie, James and Meowth. Their goal is to capture and steal rare Pokemon to please and enlighten their boss, Giovanni of Viridian City. However, due to many failed attempts, they have been outcast by their peers (which they have yet to be aware of...) and press onward as always. They constantly follow Ash Ketchum and his crew around, attempting to capture his Pikachu, even putting on disguises that always fool them (though they're blatantly obvious to the audience). Despite this, there are moments when they fight on Ash's side.

Voice: Rachel Lillis ; Michelle Knotz ; Jessie Nowack / Nowacking (Elite 3)

Jessie is the "leader" of the trio. She led a simple life in a country village, but joined Team Rocket to pursue excitement. She is loud, obnoxious and the most selfish of the them all. She is characterized by her long, violet hair.

James

Voice: Ted Lewis ; Eric Stuart ; Carter Cathcart ; Mike Hecht / 1KidsEntertainment (Elite 3)

James is the free-spirited member. He grew up as a rich aristocrat, but left to escape an arranged marriage. He is generally kind, and shows caring nature to his Pokemon. He is not above the theft of Pokemon from innocents, though.

Meowth

Seiyu: Inuko Inuyama
Voice: Maddie Balustein ; Carter Cathcart ; Jerry Pakalinski / xJerry64x (Elite 3)

Meowth is a unique, talking Pokemon that originally tried to impress a female Meowth. He is also selfish, but understands other Pokemon who also seek to pursue dreams. He is NOT battle savvy, though, and is incapable of using the signature Pay Day.
