Description A tengu perhaps (nah, far to civil), or another crow-headed creature breathing out cherry blossoms on a wind that will become the spring. So, in other words, spring comes from bad crow breath.

It's true,

but far more entertaining when they are threatening to eat small children, and pestering Buddhist priests. Which is why we all love Ake.

For a creature doing something so gentle, it looks so vicious.

We all have inner states, and other lives, sometimes the most brutal are only so because they never have a chance (or sometimes even the ablility) to express what is in the heart. And sometimes there is malice in spring, a thing born to early may not live, and with the promise of every new life comes the inevitiblitly of it's death, even the cherry blossems only last a short while.
