not really, I just dropped what I was doing at that moment and after having fought with that stupid arm in the pic for hours (AFTER I was done with all the coloring of course...) I just declared it 'finished' >_>

oh I like mystery a lot, and I really like the setting and feeling it had to it... aaaaaaaaaand then I met Emiru... whoah holy shit, I had to pause there, because when she ACCIDENTALLY RAN INTO AKASHI and went all slimey on him I was so... ew... *twitch* I really dislike characters like these, so damned phony and so damned obvious about it x_X But I will wait for further subs, the first episode was quite good so far. And I don't think it's thaaaaaat common, but then again, I have little patience and when there is romance involved I tend to not watch it AT ALL xD The Anime I really like are all not that hyped among westerners, I think.

Actually the only Anime I kinda like, aside from some short light hearted anime like Nyanpire and Poyopoyo kansatsu nikki (I love cats, can't help it xd), are dark and psychological anime like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Another, Serial Experiments Lain and stuff like that. They are the few I have the patience for.
And of course Mushishi.
I think everyone should have seen that one.

I did watch some A-Channel, though, but as I said, what I like is.. well... I am really really REALLY picky.
Madoka Magica is awesome, really, I think I watched the tv series like... 3+ times. I just love it.
Lain is... difficult, that is true, and it helps to read up on it, but it's a mature series and thus, if you are too young, it might totally go over your head.
But yeah, I really just prefer psychological, dark, horror-ish stuff, I guess, but then not all of that either, I am just really too complicated in my tastes xD.
Hm, I checked out those two series/ova, the plots seem okay-ish, though the settings are not really to my taste (and I fear romance coming up xD), but I might take a look when I am in the mood for it :3 <3

Well, I'll see when the last eps are out and I am gonna watch the series x3
I occasionally like those 5 mins anime, which are those few light hearted series I can watch, because my attention span is just that low xD.
A-channel is actually quite nice and calm, there is also something about the anime art style that feels really comfortable, no idea what it is, though.
No idea who made the ending though, because I usually skip openings and endings and only listen to the full versions of the songs (except when I play them in osu... in osu I prefer the tv versions <.<).
Yeah, and I am probably gonna watch Madoka again xD It really is good, and not as happy as it may seem. The animation style is quite cool, too, and quite artistic. It helps to read up on it, there is a small back story to basically every witch that you can read up online. Gives the whole thing even more depth.
Lain is basically a psychological, sociological and technological story that will get really confusing if you don't read up on it afterwards, I guess. I could interpret a ton of things inside it about what it might be between the lines, but.. yeah... Basically it is about a girl discovering that not everything is as it seems, even herself.

I'd rather listen to the whole song than the tv version, if the song is good, though I sometimes let the opening or ending run, too, like I used to with the Yami no Matsuei Opening.
It's great, Gen Urobuchi really is good with that xD It's awesome to have someone who intelligently dissects the 'common themes' to show their dark side and the ambiguous consequences and possible decisions.

Oh then I am relieved =w= I saw who he was and that was the first thing that came to my mind aaaaaaaaaaaand my mind can be very stubborn so I just drew it like that (difficult angles and all; I hate my mind sometimes...).
I found the first episode and will take a look at it, but no promises, my patience for concentrating on a movie or show is scarily low if something does not totally grip me (and I mean reeeeeeallly low... like... 'pause every 4 minutes and do something else' low xD) but I will give it a shot :3 <3
