Hy everybody, here I come with a new pic I draw in these days...I experimented on trying to draw a male (OMG my firsti male character, A MALE!!! XD omg) so these 2 are Apollo ( God of sun) and Selene (Goddess of moon).When I was young, I watched an anime called pollon, a little girl, supposed to be the daughter of apollo which do everything to become a goddess xD...in this anime all gods of Olimp are ridiculed... xD mostly there was one story in it, which i remembered after many years: when sister of apollo(artemis, the goddess of moon) got ill, zeus had to put another goddess to replace her for a while, so they put selene...however, apollo and selene fell in love, but since they rapresent day and night, they can't meet each other...
zeus, out of the pity for them, choose few days a year when there will be an eclipse.
(on that day they will meet again)
I want to thx my sensei who gave me some tips on how make the background and to translate the story ^^

i can't draw anything but anime ppl and my boys suck so basically only anime girl which sucks cause i love greek mythology but feel like my cutsy anime style doesn't suit artmeis and athena who i love drawing

Don't want to ruin too much, but its about special people, called shamens who can use "magic" to talk and interact with the spirits of this world, human and otherwise, and this is about a guy named Yoh and his friends who enters a contest that happens once every 500 years ( I think it was 500...) and fight each other and if they win they can talk to the "great spirit" who is similar to god and has unlimited knowledge its about his adventures and his friends in the battle, there is romance, adventure, humor, cool battles, philsophy, and more, you should watch / read it ^^

Apollo's sister is Artemis, not Selene, and well I drew this in reference of an anime which kinda didn't follow the original stories.

The real story is that Helios and Selene were brother and sister and were later replaced by Apollo and Artemis, also brother and sister, but I've seen Little Pollon, too. I like the story with Selene and Apollo falling in love c:

Aww. Poor Apollo. What happened to artemis? If she becomes Moon goddess again, can't Selene and Apollo be together forever and ever and ever and ever-Oh yeah, almost forgot to say this picture is really good-and EVER? I've always <3ed Greek myths since I was a kid and will probably start watching this anime. Thanks.
