you could just use clear spray paint on it, or cover it with a plastic sheet, "Do you know the clear thick plastic people put on their windows prior to winter? You can get a roll at Wal-Mart. It's about $10. You'll be able to cover the works with the clear plastic. You'll protect the drawings AND people will still be able to see them. There is a spray fixative made for pastel drawings which really are nothing more than fancy chalk. You can find it at an art shop. It will help preserve it from being rubbed off by the plastic a bit but it's not permanent. Hair spray may work too and it might be cheaper but use and Aerosol! A pump may damage your drawings because it is wet like a squirt gun!

You'll have to hold down the edges of the plastic with weights. Like big heavy rocks and don't forget orange pylons to let people know to NOT walk there. I'd put a coat of fixative on the art and then the plastic, then whatever else you are going to use to hold the plastic in place. After you are finished with the drawings, the fixative will wash off in the rain."

hahha!!! that is an interesting idea.... the question then would be... where should i draw? XDDD i dont think my parents would be too happy with a bunch of drawings on our driveway XDDD regardless of how nice they look. but yeah. if i was allowed to, i would totally do that. good idea! you should try it!!!
