Well just as there was a "beginning", so there was an "end".Here is the second picture I have drawn of the fanart100, based on the prompt "ends," it depicts the death of InuTaisho from Inuyasha Movie 3: Swords of World Conquest, his death was the same night of Inuyasha's birth.
I've heard of art being stolen of devianart, so from now on I'm going to mark my artwork, to show people it is mine.

Wonderful job on this. I especially love the composition and the color. And, yes, it's unfortunate that fanart is stolen on a very regular basis. Some is simply reposted without the artist's permission, but many pieces are claimed by others as their own. Marking your artwork is a good thing, although it's doesn't guarantee that someone won't still try to take it. You might want to check out ~watermarks here on DA - you can find out how to make various types of watermarks there.

Yeah. But, but I realized being a fan Artist I'm technically doing the same thing. I'm using Rumiko Takahashi's ideas. So with the rest of my pictures I'm not going to do this, except in this case the the words along the side panel actually balance the picture out.
Alough a watermark might be nice to have. Thanks!

Yeah, but by being a fanart, you're already crediting the original creator, and it's actually acceptable to use their characters. Of course, if you drew, say, Inuyasha, and then claimed the character design was your own, you'd be in the wrong.
We just had a discussion on this very topic on one of my Yahoo groups over the past day or two, and I think it comes down to common sense and common courtesy more than anything. To post another person's work without their permission is being rude. To take that art and claim it as your own is worse. The sad thing is, though, that fanart/fanfiction plagiarism seems to be on the rise, and some artists have completely stopped posting work because of the problem. If only the plagiarists would realize what they are doing to the fandom. I doubt they'd stop what they're doing, but perhaps they'd at least have a modicum of remorse.

Hmmm, I never thought of that.....
Well, I don't care what they, they're not going to stop me from posting my art. Besides we all take that risk when we post stuff for the world to see.
I'm not saying the gives them any right to take people's art, but that is the risk. And one can either hide from it, or move on with your life and do the best you can to stop it and prevent it. Me I'm not going to hide, and I will hone my skills at water marks.

The first part of the story could fit into the bounds of the series, but it's in the chapter when Ryuukotsusei, InuTaisho's mortal enemy, makes his second appearance that history changes, and it all hinges on the decision Ryuukotsusei makes. (Unfortunately, the chapters I have so far are only up Ryuu's first appearance).

Speaking of Ryuukotsusei, I made a picture of a possible humanoid form for him, which we do not see in the series or the manga.

Oh I like any kind of review,
but if you want some guidlines: I like getting peoples opinions on how well I'm doing with character portrayals ( that's a big one for me), if elements in the plot are plausible, and generally if they thought the story was interesting enough to continue reading. Also it makes me happy when people point out scenes that they liked or ones that stood out for them.
The beauty of FF.net is you don't have to sign in to leave a review. The allowance of anonymous reviews is a good thing. ^^

I know, I love him so much! And it made me very sad that he had to die. So that's why I am also writing a slightly AU fanfic where he lives!
