Bio:

Obsidian was the product of a vile dragon and a female pony. His mother couldn't bring herself to abort the child when she found out about her pregnancy and decided to put him in an orphanage as soon as he was born. The other children never liked him very much, but he never let that affect him. He was a rather good kid and always helped out when he could, even when he wasn't asked to. He had been in the orphanage for several years until he was choosen by Nightmare Moon (much to the persistance of Ilvaria and Nira's pestering) to be her royal guard. Right away, he started calling her 'mother' and she would try to correct him, but he was persistant. He soon met his best friend, Silver Lance, soon after his adoption.

After a few years, once they were old enough, Lance and Obsidian became inseparable friends and sparring partners.

Fun facts:

- He is gay

- As a kid, whenever he grew tired around Nightmare Moon, she would "allow" him to rest on her back. He still tries to do that as an adult but ends up just laying on her entirely. She is not amused by this.

- His favored weapon is a great sword
