Description
Sorry for the long bio, but I adore these two. They're my favorite couple out of all the ones my characters have with either my bf or best friend.
------------------------
Name: Iomedae
Gender: Female
Race: Human/ half-drow
Personality: Stubborn, headstrong, kind, merciless, easy to annoy (mostly because of Malo), level-headed, strong willed, caring.
Titles: Paladin captain (former), Ruler of Heaven*
Age: 23 before godhood, Ageless
Symbol: N/A
Relations: Malo (husband), Kotharyn (step-daughter), Ilieh (daughter)
Bio:
Iomedae was conceived between an unfortunate incident between her mother and a drow. After finding out she was pregnant, she and her husband were devistated. With the small hope that the child would turn out to be a decent citizen, they kept her and raised her. Iomedae was never told about her drow half and only found out because she heard her parents talking about it when she was 12. Throughout the first ten years of her life, she had trouble with school. She always fell asleep during classes and was very tired most of the day, and had a hard time sleeping at night. Her eyes were sensitive to bright lights and often made it difficult to move around outside. Everyone in town knew what she was and would often call her "defect" or "half-breed." No one gave her a chance.
She was eventually kicked out of school for bad grades and their lack of care. She tried looking around for a job and only found one at the church. They gave her simple jobs, but she was grateful all the same. They were a little uneasy about her drow half, but they worked around it well enough, giving her duties that would suit her best. Here is when she found out about paladins and how they were crusaders of good and justice. She wanted to be one. She wanted to show everyone that she wasn't evil just for being what she was. She started to train and spent many nights studying, and became one after some time. And she was very talented at the job. After a few years, she rose the ranks to become a captain. She couldn't have been more happier. That was until her parents started to use her title to only aid themselves and to get them higher in society. Iomedae got into a relationship during her early 20's. She let her guard down with him and he slithered his way in and ruined her career and lost her rank because of it. Her parents disowned her afterwards.
Not feeling any other reason to live, she went to The Test of the Star-Stone. She knew the stories. Only two out of hundreds that went in came out to be gods. She went in expecting death but came out the other end a god. When the news spread, her parents begged for forgiveness. She turned them down and abandoned them as her parents. She was soon called to Heaven by the king at the time. This is where her real story starts.
Fun facts:
- I know Pathfinder has their own canon version of Iomedae, but there isn't much about her and I'm not too fond of that version of her. I made my own a while ago and the look just stuck.
- After her life's events, as far as she's concerned, she has no parents.
- Malo does annoy her to no end at times, but he's never pushed her to the point that she's furious with him.
--------------------------------
Name: Malo Difunto
Other names: Kornari (former), Kako Fileyo
Gender: Male
Race: Undead dragling (former), shadow demon
Personality: Seductive, commanding, manipulative, merciless when angered, evil, kind, slow to anger.
Titles: King of the Abyss*, Lord of Darkness, Devourer of Souls, Destroyer of Worlds, Seducer of all, Killer of millions, Eater of Barbecue, and Nicest-guy-you'll-ever-meet
Age: Ageless
Symbol: N/A
Relations: Jubille (ex-wife), Iomedae (wife), Kotharyn (daughter), Ilieh (daughter), Nocticula ("mother"), Orcus ("father")
Bio:
Kornari was created as an experiment by Nocticula and Orcus. Being mere Demon Princes, they wanted a reason to grow to godhood within the realm of the Abyss. Kornari was their key. Kornari was sent to a world and caused havoc and choas. He had his own cult following after some time and seduced many women and men, resulting in many children as well. However, unlike other demons or any beings that are evil aligned, he is rather kind and generous when you get to know him. He even married an elven woman and stayed as faithful as he could to her, thought this failed from time to time. After many years of gaining his power, he was assasinated by a group of mercenaries that only did so because they were paid off and threatened. Otherwise, they left him alone. After that, they went after his wife.
Kornari was resurrected after a rather long time. He didn't remember anything of who he was and dubbed his name Malo Difunto. Malo wandered the world, regaining his memories and powers after time. He made alliances, enemies, and eventually found his way back down into the Abyss where he built up his own little realm. During his travels, he met a drow named Jubilee that was as lustful as he was. When they went to the Abyss, he turned her into a succubus and they married. Not too long later, they had Kotharyn. Demons grow up at astounding rates and within a year, Kat was fully grown. Jubilee grew insanely jealous of her own daughter. She started to mistreat her but never harmed her with Malo watching constantly. It wasn't long after that they found out about Jubilee's true intentions. She wanted to be with Malo only for his power and wealth. Malo kicked her out of his home and realm. This event caused a rupture in their hearts and wouldn't be healed until Iomedae was captured by Malo.
Fun facts:
- Malo is my boyfriend's character thus why Malo is Sir Edgelord. But I love these two as a couple so much.
- Under no circumstances will Malo harm his own family or children at all. But he does illusion harm on children to make someone talk if he needs to.
- As much as a seducer as he is, Malo is completely faithful to Iomedae.
- Malo may be evil and a horrible person but in no means is he unkind or uncaring.
- He's a dragling which is among the many races I've created for Pathfinder/ D&D. I don't know if I'll ever actually post the list of races, though.
-----------------
* For anyone who doesn't know, Heaven (or Mt. Celestia inn Pathfinder/D&D) is the Lawful Good outside plane, the highest level of good. The Abyss is the exact opposite being Chaotic Evil, the most evil one can get.
