Well, the changing of the proportions comes with the journal skin (which is made by another deviant).
I could change it, so it won't change the proportions anymore, but I like it like this.
This way, my journal layout won't be a complete mess with all the different thumbnail sizes.
(And it gives people one more reason to click on it to see the full view
