Touka and Ayato! meh, this is just my own interpretation of them. Their relationship (from the anime alone) really interested me..Mixed media this time; pastels pencils and paints ^_^

This is....... incredible .-. The way you did the hair... your skills with pastels are so advanced... It makes for such beautiful pieces <3 Whether it was intentional or not, I feel like I can actually see what come across as "shared genetic traits", with the slight alterations and differences that gender would create. Honestly, the longer I look at this, the more I like it. You captured both of them so well... And their expressions :3 so subtle but yet the emotion is there, and it's effective. I just... I love how you did the faces. I love everything about this!! Please make more!! I get so inspired <33

except that I feel the shape of Touka's head is a little unbalanced.

No, you don't need references to make the shape of the head right.
All you need to do next time is pay more attention to the shape when you start the sketching lines
making a circle with a cross if needed,
and lineart.

If you say average, I belive it. Actually the reviews I saw were pretty bad, so I am confused by the amount of fan art. I am going to watch parasyte-the maxim instead, which just started this month. It's interesting, only 2 eps out so far.

I did. You have to watch a few episodes because the first one is kinda just atmospheric with out much talking. Lol I would have quit gun grave if I didn't watch at least 4 EPs (almost finished with it). It picks up after a few episodes.Β

Yep finally finished it, I wish the end didn't drag out for as long as it did.
t and res was a fail, it had potential but failed for me.
i started baccanno and never finished it, which is weird bc I thought it was really well done...I don't think I was feeling it.
