inspired by the vampires of check out that gallery or eltse i take a chunk out of yer neck too!same arsenal (prismacolor marker, pitt pen, pencil, and computer colors) plus some brickwork photos i had lyin' around.

I like the technique here. It almost has a "just-complete-enough" look to it. Or something...
The pose I'm not so sure about. It's clear that he's leaning forward and resting his hand on his face (or maybe even vice versa. hee hee.) ... but the other arm seems to be...missing. But maybe that's just because he's got it back? I'd think it'd look a bit more right if his shoulder were a bit more up, so that maybe it could trick us into thinking his other arm is laid across his lap?

maybe the pose would make more sense if he was wiping something from his face, like blood or something. i ran over this one in the mirror as i went and the front arm mostly works but yeah....the back one....it gets kinda lost in the shuffle and makes things a little awkward. The whole pose is kind of a slack, gangly off-kilter shoulder pose which is tricky to pull off.

Love his face, reckon you could do with a little more detail in the hair, but i'm obsessed with hair so thats just my preference.

He looks pretty nasty and with an ugly ugly temper. I liked the colors you used on him, these blues and greys fits very well endeed, I tend to paint them..humm very white, maybe I'll try blues next time
The backround looks awesome and the way his nose is done and the notorious line on his upper lip makes him look even more feral or animalistic than normal vamps... pretty interesting.

Yeah, you're right about the color concept. Is pretty similar to a coversation I had with a friend once about how vamps should smell, I was of the idea they shouldn't smell preciselly... fine.. more near to smelling of blood and this because on Anne Rice books vamps doesn't smell.. I can't agree with that XP
