The whole concept of the picture looks really good~! (and I love the details on the rock. It's far more than what I ever do and it looks like a rock.) The pose looks natural and it's much better interesting for the movement it makes.
And as for clouds, I can recommend using a soft round brush with about 20% opacity? (if you are using photoshop/gimp.) That might be able to help. I found a good tutorial for one a long time ago and I really liked the overall result. But I like how your clouds aren't just puff balls.

Haha, thanks. The rock was kind of rushed because I don't think I've every tried to draw rocks in a bg before (I hardly even draw BGs by themselves XD). And I'm glad the pose worked out. ^___^
And thanks, I'll definately go back and experiment more with the soft brush before I use... 0____o whatever it was I used. (I use photoshop elements, so same idea as photoshop, just less features) I used a lasso and then a weird brush to smudge with and it just came out looking like sky diarrhea. XD

Don`t worry I make same mistakes too, but light sorces tend to reflect light off objects which then goes into our eyes. I mean light can do some crazy things you wouldnt supect it to but generally I`m just saying if the light source if a warm sunset, then the colors will be a warm sunset.

Ahmg yeah, I'm really bad when it comes to highlights and such. =______= Is that what you mean by the colours? And does that mean the shadows should be cool colours if the highlights are warm colours?

Ya, that's what I mean. Hah don't worry i can't just pull correct shadeing out of my head either yet XD But that's the thing where maybe reference could help.
No I don't think it would nessisarly be a "cool" color, in the shadows I tink you would have closer to the oposite color. Hmm but when I'm out side and I look at shadows, I see blue in them. I think this comes from the white light of the sun mixed with some blue light from the sky. If you thnka bout it it makes sense... if the sky is blue it must be relflecting blue light back into our eyes.
A little experiement I did one day after I read some form that web site. I put my hand over green grass and noticed my hand then hand some green tones from the relflected green light!
One day my mother had this red silky blanket covering the window from light comeing in. There were red shades all around the door and the green shades in the shadows -opposite color-
It's interesting stuff... lots to it though whoa @___@
