Description Phew! There are two ways to think of this piece. "Oh gosh, it only took me one day!" oooor "Oh gosh... it took me all day..." It's a little bit of both, for me. 8I

It's my first print I'll be selling... ;w;... I-I hope it does well...

Anywho, this is Shizuo and Izaya from Durarara!, locked in a heated battle! Though it seems they've come to a standstill, with Shizuo's post box balancing on Izaya's head, and Izaya's knife gradually cutting into Shizuo's neck... very tense! >w>

Also, it seems Shizuo has broken his wrist by slinging that post box around. *gets shot*

Just in case you didn't know the second season was just completed. I liked season 1 better but it's still going pretty strong.

So I finally finished watching the anime and I thought I'd just comment on this picture. ;-; months after it stopped being insanely popular...I'm so slow.

So like, I hate Izaya, since he's a jerk with his surprisingly good reasoning. I didn't like Shizou at first since... I wouldn't really want a sign post thrown at my face.

But then I saw him as a kid and I was all, "AMG. SHO CUTE. I SUDDENLY WUV HIM." o

Yeah, I was going to go for a vending machine or trash bin like most people draw, but I decided those were too big and I'd have to make a larger shadow, which wouldn't be as interesting...

Ooh. Well, I'll give you my take on it. It's a manga and an anime, but I've only seen the anime. I read a bit of the manga and it appeared about the same. I think there's a certain amount of hype over the series, and that maybe it's been overrated. However, it's still a good anime. There are some great plot twists, a little action, a little drama, a little comedy, a dash of romance, plenty of memorable characters, quality animation... It's an interesting story overall.

The odd thing is how popular Shizuo and Izaya got. They aren't really the main characters. What's even odder is, they are essentially rivals, yet arguably the largest fraction of the fanbase likes the two of them as a pairing, which is... pretty much why I made this print. xD

I hope my opinion helps you decide whether to watch or not... :3 If you start and find it boring at first, I say give it a few more episodes. Once you get more accustomed to the characters and story, that's when more mysteries will come in the plot will really pick up.
