I've started playing in 2004 on euRO, changed to iRO with the close of euRO and stopped playing this year. The characters I created though became my main characters, and the protagonists of the book I'm writing, but completly loosen from RO itself ^^

Ahh. I've played on a lot of servers, since they kept quitting on me.
My Favourite OC is a RO char though, or started out as such. I just love the possibilities of that world.
I can never quit playing for long (I've tried).
Now I'm curious about that story.. <3

I wouldn't even say that I completly quit, I might return someday.

Ahh, I can't speak a word of German. Which is bad, because it's my neighbouring country.

I can't speak dutch, too... XD
I can understand it very well though, at least when spoken slow or when reading it, since most words are actually either english or german - or are similiar to both languages.
So, even if you think you can't speak "a word german" - I think you speak german words without noticing it

I suppose, there just not German to me.
I took German for 2 years in HS, had an average of F-. Forgot what little I knew.
Can't really understand people when they're talking it either.
My mom speeks it fluently, this annoys me.

I had to choose between Latin and French (English wasn't chooseable and classes started 2 years earlier), and everyone suggested Latin because "it's easier to learn other languages with latin as base". Not really true....

lolol. Maybe Latin based languages. But Latin is so hard to learn you might as well do it the normal way.
I think. I took French and German, English to. Had to at first. But well, for French and German I only got F-'s. So I was allowed to drop them.

Well, many languages are based on latin in their anglicisms. A lot.
But it still doesn't help that it's a practically dead language and the words alone don't really help that much.
I learned more about roman lifestyle then the language. I give the fault to my teacher though, he was really bad at teaching latin.

I had english in 5th class ongoing and could decide between latin and french in 7th class. Usually, this is the standart for my school-type. And no, I couldn't drop them - you can only drop one later on when you take another one instead.
I also happened to experience a school where they teached latin in the 5th, and gave the option of either english or french in the 7th. And I must say it was horrible.
Latin didn't helped anyone, and not teaching english today in our society is simply stupid.
