I sometimes think that the less important the issue, the stronger my opinion tends to be. I have nothing much useful to say about, oh, religious tension in the Middle East, but I'll do two hours on sloppy thinking in cryptozoology,* and if you ever really want to push me into a killing rage, tell me you think they faked the moon landing on a sound stage in Vegas.Another of my weird little autobiographical nuggets. That odd creature is my cat, Ben, who's been stylized and sterilized, but not necessarily in that order.

I don't even know what cryptozoology is. In fact I've never even heard the term before. Of course the fact that you know the term and the meaning simply rounds out the idea of you I have in my head. I wish more people in the world were wierd ducks. It makes for an interesting place!

While I don't believe cryptids really exist, if fun to think "What if..." and how it would affect life and such, but some people do tend to get carried away.

You should meet my stepfather. He has been known to rant for days about how they faked the moon landing in the Nevada Desert and how it's all part of a huge conspiracy to bring about the end of the world. The two of you could rant at each other for hours and hours and hours.

weasels....the human kind? they could do with a beating or three. i see nothing wrong with opinions; strong opinions about those you mentioned...and others...such as dryer sheets used as shoe inserts to fight static cling. what did static cling ever do to change the world? and why should we fight it? it might actually be useful to have people grumpy because their pants cling to their socks at awkward times, or their skirts ride up the back. grumpy ones have a place in the scheme of things and should be encouraged in any way possible, that includes dryer sheets and static cling, for cry ey ey.
