Trent's Toterra

When Trent started out as a new trainer in the Sinnoh Region his first Pokemon was the grass type Turtwig. Trent's Turtwig evolved into Grottle after Trent's first gym battle with Roark in Oreburgh City then finally into Torterra after Trent's battle with Crasher Wake in Nomose City.

Trent's Marowak

One day while training with Turtwig, Trent encountered a very powerful Cubone. Trent captured Cubone and it eventually evolved into Marowak during a battle with a bunch of Ariados.

Trent's Kingler

While fishing in a river, Trent caught a large Krabby that showed real potential. So with the help of Turtwig, Trent was able to capture Krabby. Krabby was later exposed to a water stone, which gave it the ability to evolve into Kingler.

Trent's Chatot

While playing his guitar Trent's music attracted a parrot pokemon called Chatot. It was taken in by Trent's music and decided to come along with him on his journey.

Trent's Shuckle

One day, while taking a lunch break Trent and his pokemon's food was taken by a pokemon called Shuckle. Surprisingly it showed great strength and stamina, so Trent decided to catch it.

Trent's Alakazam

While in Hearthome City (about to challenge the Hearthome Gym Leader) Trent encountered an Abra that for some reason was following him. In soon Trent decided to catch Abra and make him part of his Pokemon team. Abra evolved into Kadabra, while battling Maylene the Vailstone City Gym Leader, then later into Alakazam during a Pokemon tournament.
