((again, apologies for the watermark))Master study from John Singer Sargent's "Miss Elizabeth Chanler". I really enjoyed doing this one, especially since it only took about 4 out of 6 days (12 hours). I have too short of an attention span to look a picture for more than that.
Sargent was an amazing portrait artist. If you aren't familiar with his work, go google and get familiar!

Ouch. Kinda wonder why the painter didn't tone down the red a bit, though. It's not exactly something I'd want advertised.
