(I hope this loads properly)Flash assignment for college. Um, it was supposed to be 4 scenes that told some kind of story. I ended up doing an 11 scene movie.
*enters rant*
Why do I always do this?! I get nice, fairly simple assignments and I turn them into HUGE projects that are 3 times as long. *sigh* And I always, always do that. What is wrong with me? I just make more work for myself and burn out faster.
Anyway, done in Flash, about 3 days of work off and on. I like drawing in Flash, even more than Illustrator. It has more of a brush feel.

I know where you're coming from. Every time I get an idea for a story it balloons into this behemoth that I can't control.

Sure am! It's a lot of fun, but also a bit stressful. Some of the stress is my fault. I let an art project blow out of proportion! (I really shouldn't be allowed near anything involving a hammer.)

I know what you mean. It takes a while to get used to drawing what you see instead of drawing what you imagine. But you actually have a huge advantage in the long run because you taught yourself how to draw from imagination first, eventually you'll be able to draw realistic people and images without using reference for anything...except lighting if you made it more difficult. The Enchantments picture I did was all from imagination. Most of the graduates who didn't know drawing before say that they cannot draw from imagination at all.
