Ugh YES! I finally got back on the digital horse and finished a project~ lately I haven't been doing so much digital art so this does made me very happy ahah

But so introduction time, this is one of my newest characters to be added to my little army. While I had the concept for her a few years back I recently had the inspiration to refine and finish her, plus her story so she can be used in this years NaNoWriMo! So everyone I'm happy to finally introduce Breighnai!

I'm so in love with her design right now, I always go back and eventually change things later as I progress but for how this is something I'm very very proud of! She doesn't wear heavy armor, or even much armor at all like the rest of my Valkyries that have been featured in my series. Her specialty lies more in stealth and that is all I shall say ahha!

I don't really consider this outfit her "work" clothes because of the bright colors and so on, but I do see her wearing this more casually again, I'll have to see as I write the story because her personality will develop and change.

This year I will be working with my writing partner during NaNoWriMo and we are going to try and get more then one novel done since we work pretty fast when we work together. Last year for those of you who may remember I was flying solo and it was extremely difficult to work alone, because I had writers block and a bunch of other things going on but I did it! This year I'm not as nervous because I well, have someone to save my bum if I can't do something haha. Of course I say this now and this will be the year I goof up ahah!

Now since I have been using ink to cover my lines my digital issues with my new style seem to be over, and I even have a pencil brush that matches the texture of my ink lines FINALLY. You guys have no idea how much of a pain that was but now I can literally just draw and not worry. I'm so happy! So. Happy.

I'm also starting to slowly understand how I would like to actually color my drawings now, I had to change it up after switching from anime to this but I'm slowly getting there. I'm guessing this will be what will be changing the most over the next few months, but I'll see I guess!

I'm wanting to do a water color version of them as well using the original lines in my sketch book but it all depends on if that particular sketchbook handles watercolors or not, if it bleeds then there won't be a follow up drawing but that is my plan at this point if you see this drawing again!

But okay now I'm desperately needing to sleep so hopefully that made sense and good night everyone!
