I wanted to draw Uriel Septim poking his nose through the curtain in Martin’s cot to play with him during his royal nap time. I sketched this instead. Uriel and Gemile accidentally swoop in to play with Martin at the same time. Martin is, of course, overjoyed.

”Mum! Dad! This - This is great! Why doesn’t this happen more often! Other Dad should join us too - (Gemile bangs head on cot) - oop, and Mum’s gone. Never mind...”

Having a baby with the Emperor of Cyrodiil makes it impossible for the poor girl to move on from her mistakes.
Drawing cartoon baby fluff is hard. I’m trying to have Martin at varying ages as this story is planned out to take place from when Basil returns from the army to find Gemile barely able to hide a second trimester baby bump under her dress up until Martin is maybe 10 months old, so hair is important. This isn’t manga where they are born with a full roman hair cut.
