Ah yes. We often forget that Shippo actually had a life before Kagome and Inuyasha came along. It's supposed to be right before the Thunder Brothers show up, hence the storm in the background (or at least the attempt at a storm -_-'). This is for the contest over at which is for an IY character's childhood. ^^ Finished right at the deadline as per usual.
Took 6 hours to color in MS Paint.

You are the god of MS paint art. I mean seriously, to have the patience to color in MS paint x.x; and in 6 hrs only? Somethign like this would take me days x__x;
I don't know anything about Shippo myself, but you're right I did not think about his life before Inuyasha and Kagome. Shippo needs more love, he's so cute and spiffy <3

Yeah I've though about that myself. I figure that his dad would've sent shippo and his mom away during the fight, and then his mom may have gone after to avenge his death leaving shippo alone.
I dunno though. I need to think it through a bit more. Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Poor little Shippou. Yes, we often forget that some of the characters have their own histories. I sometimes wish they could devote a couple of episodes to each of the characters, filling in the gaps we know nothing about.
This turned out adorable! Beautiful work on the art. The pose and their expressions are priceless.

Of course, he doesn't really have a life WITH Inuyasha and Kagome anyway...he just seems to be the "cute little guy" of the bunch. The only person missing in Inuyasha's group is a big brutish dumb guy...unless Inuyasha himself fills that role.
