It would be really cool to get books! Though I get that they would be expensive to make.

HAHA! I saw the name and I was like: Wait what? I have a L4D Hunter character named Diesel but your little lady here is MUCH cuter.

This is awesome, I really love looking at your stuff.<3
As for a boxer hockey book, I'm one of the cheapest fuckers around, but I would throw all my debt out the window and pick quarters off the street to buy that, I'm serious.

The reason I haven't bought any prints is because I'm fourteen, and my parents fail to see why I'd want to spend that much for some art that isn't by some famous artist, you know? But if it's a problem to you, I could hand them the money in cash and they'd have to buy it. <3
Also, PLEASE print the book. You'd make my life complete and I could die happily. xDD I'd DEFINITELY buy that, and I'd make my friends buy a copy as well. xD Plus, Boxer Hockey would be the best christmas gift anyone could ask for so I may buy three or so copies.
I hope it sells well and your can forget about the stress of if it will/will not. <3 I wish you well, good sir! <3

I'd like to see more of Diesel's story. I'm much more interested in buying a book with her, and I don't even know the whole story.
I'm not really a print buying sort of guy, but if I were then I'd be more interested in one with multiple characters in the Diesel storyline.
Love the mechanic/steampunk sort of thing and I'm already a huge fan of your work. So I'm just exited for any updates in the meantime.

I only haven't bought the prints because I'm back at school and don't have any money to spare until the summertime job starts. Last time I bought prints was when you wanted to go to Japan.
If you made a book, I would definitely just not eat for a week to save up the money to buy it. Totally worth it, I think.

Well, you can at least take solace in the fact that I would be completely devastated if there is no book. But I totally understand your concerns. I make a decent amount of money to the point where even $30 for the book wouldn't kill my checkbook. But as for other people, I can understand.

I would definitely buy a book, but it would probably be more wise to take pre-orders to get rough estimates of the types of numbers you'll be seeing later on. If it gets alot of pre-orders then more then likely it'll still sell after pre-orders, and if not so well then print little to none past pre-orders.
BTW When you say book, do you mean a art book as in illustrations or as in the solid Boxer Hockey comic book? I assumed the later.
Great stuff as always!

Meant to say you had other reasons behind ending the main Boxer Hockey storyline as well >_<.
Forgot to mention this during my long post, but I really love the various sketches of Diesel in on this submission. Her and the other characters seem to have abit of emotion to them and I would love to see more of that in the future.Your style of artwork also inspires to get back into my artwork and keep trying to find a middleground with my own style of drawing.

Coming from a fan standpoint with hard earned monies they have to trudge their ass to work on the daily to obtain, like someone else mentioned,it makes it hard to stay committed to buying something from an artist when you either just wanted to speak up because they're doing something cool, you have much more important obligations to attend to like bills,or there's something you really wanted that takes top priority over said artist's items.
I would love to buy some things from some of my favorite webcomic makers and the like as long as they are priced reasonably, and I am going to set up a paypal account soon since I finally have a bank account. At the same time,I have to keep in mind that I have a car that needs to get fixed, stuff that I need to get for my house, and a PS3 and a new pc I have been trying my damnest to get for the past few months. If I can muster buying something from an artist I know so it helps them out and makes them want to stay committed to their work,I'll do it,because the main reason I wanted to get a bank account and want the new pc is because I'm trying to do the same thing they're doing.
So in hindsight, yes,if I have the opportunity and the means,I would have know trouble buying an artbook from ya Rittz,as long as it's within the means for me to get it and lush with content for the price. At the same time,if you do go forward with that,I suggest doing a limited run at a set amount to insure that the artbook is going to sell, and then doing another batch when you're able to.This will initially keep you from going beyond your financial means, because I have seen people get overzealous with doing prints for something and end up messing themselves over. Also, you need to build up abit more notoriety in order to get the sales for the artbook and prints. You've had to end the main Boxer Hockey storyline because you wanted to do various stories, which is understandable, but as far as updates before that move they have been very very inconsistent for almost a year. You'll have to do something in order to work your way back up to get the attention necessary, and that's something not just Fireball20XL would be able to supplement on its own.

I'm pretty sure it was an eye strand for you too,but if you ever see me type that much,it usually means I'm being quite serious or thoughtful about what I have to say. With that said,I have a great deal of respect for your art,and with what I post it wasn't just from a fan standpoint, but a financial and artistic one as well, cause let's face it,it's hard out trying to make something out of a line of work like this because you're not the only one trying to show their creativity to the world. All the same, support is a great motivator for anyone, especially for something like this.
And if it wasn't already obvious or I haven't said it yet,you have my full support, and when most of my dire responsibilities, best believe I'll be more than willing to throw some cash your way,and I am not just saying (especially if you do some more One Piece prints :U).

Watching you for the last few months has been a treat! I love the weight you give your characters through lines and forms. And your designs have been right up my alley too! Your Diesel should meet my Bonnie! haha!
Actually, if you wouldn't mind, I'd maybe like to do a fanart rendition of Diesel in the future. She looks like fun to draw!

I like Diesel best when she's most expressive. When I see her with her eyes half-closed most of the time, that same emotion is being transferred to me. So I essentially think, "Oh, Diesel is so pretty. But where is her personality?" I feel like I'm speaking like Tyra Banks and I hate that, but it's something I noticed after seeing Diesel with all this beautifully drawn emotion. So basically, I'd personally love to see more of her being a little more animated. Right now, I don't really know what kind of person she is.
As for the book, YES I would absolutely buy one. Particularly if it had some pages set aside for some of your concept art and some more of your favorite original characters. As for art prints, although I love your work, I usually only buy one that conveys something about myself, which happens rarely. Particularly because my flat will soon be plastered with socialist propaganda posters that my boyfriend has collected over the years. But no, your prints are very fairly priced.

I don't know if print on demand would be an option. In order to make more than 10 cents a book I'd have to print off a bulk run of about 500 to 1000 books.

My excuse for not making any purchases is just no money on hand. I love you're work, I would go as far as to say that I would buy all of your prints if I had the cash to throw around. But, ya know. Personal stuff to sustain myself comes first. I guess you can consider this my apology for being a fan who is a free-rider. Getting the benefits with out giving any support... New college stude...blah blah blah. You get the picture.

Diesel's a cutie, but the character on the top left is interesting...I want to see more of her!
I'll buy a book, I can promise that. If it's around 15 bucks, for sure. If it's like 20+, I'll buy it if there's promises of signatures...maybe some hi-fives. Personally, I think books are more...collectible. I've never been much for prints, since there's not much you can do with one. You can hang it up, I guess, but a book has much more replay value.

Hnng.
Also if you are going to do the book, I think Christmas would be your best bet, so people would ask their /parents/ to buy it for them.
Most people (on dA, and I'm guessing a portion of your fanbase) don't have jobs, which was my situation, so I couldn't buy anything. Now that I'm starting work soon (waitin' for my boss to call me) I can set up a pay-pal and buy some stuff.
That, or if they DO have jobs, they need to save their cash for stuff they really need. Like bills.
and stuff.
